At approximately 11:45 pm NYPD entered Zuccotti Park to remove some protesters who had laid down. A crowd had gathered around that area of the park. New York City Councilman Jumaane Williams walked up to the edge of the crowd to see what was happening and was violently shoved back by a female officer. According to a Tweet by @Dustin Slaughter Councilman Jumaane Williams is "shaken, but OK. Won't discuss details right now."
